Why Red Cap Pipe Tobacco Smells Like Fig Newtons
I warn you right away, if you love dessert so much, I strongly recommend smoking it on a small pipe, in my case I can only smoke like that. This makes me feel like pipe smoking is not for me (otherwise I don't use tobacco), but I thought I'd ask if it could be due to poor smoking technique or something else. I liked my flavors and had problems with most English or Virginia blends, but this was the first tobacco I smoked that had the natural taste of tobacco leaves.
Vanilla bay leaves and black tea mix with sweet tobacco, the smell of deep animal laughter, an old wooden walking stick, a worn hat and a torn leather jacket. Certain pipes smoke better with certain tobaccos, certain blends, or certain cuts. The flavor is too synthetic for me and doesn't taste like real pipe tobacco.
Pros - After smoking a few ounces, I liked the quality of the burning tobacco. On the other hand, it's tobacco that you can smoke in your pipe and you decide if it's good or bad, not me or the government. In hindsight, I have tried rolling cigarettes using good pipe tobacco, and while they have a distinct pipe tobacco flavor, the taste and effect are not comparable to pipe smoking.
The combination of poor quality, often dried tobacco and additives results in an unpleasant pipe smoking experience and an increased likelihood of developing health problems. When poorly smoked, they can taste like hot air, but with the right smoking technique, they can cover a wide range of flavors and are usually sweet, spicy, and fruity. I am new to pipe smoking and have tried many different brands and varieties of pipe tobacco.
I find the tobacco to be medium strength, but I only smoke occasionally and may therefore be more susceptible to nicotine than average pipe smoke. Virgin tobacco is often used as the base tobacco in blends, but it is also smoked "straight". Highly recommended for those who love natural, pure and easy to smoke tobacco. It can hide in the blend, taking on the characteristics of the dominant tobaccos that surround it, giving the smoke more body and a heavier mouthfeel.
Now that I'm a veteran, it's still nice to smoke my first cigarettes. Reheating your favorite tobacco is not a good idea as it will change the properties of the blend. Since I didn't mention it in the original post, I really like the raisin/fig flavor.

It smells like rich, sweet Virginia... bready, hayy, grassy, slightly fruity, earthy, with a hint of spice. So far I have smoked it in two different pipes, a Savinelli briar and a Missouri Meerschaum, and I liked it best on the cob.
It was fresh smoke all over and I never got a terrible tongue bite. It's almost perfect straight out of the can, but I like it when my tobacco is a little dry, so after 20-25 minutes it's already in the bowl. Smoke and ashes surround the perfumed woman, who smells of light spice and black musk.
My first impression was great: the note of the sachet is quite pleasant and very different from the Newton figs of my usual fragrance blend. This venerable classic Burley contains no exotic tobaccos or fine spices, but it is the best tobacco I have ever smoked, and I have smoked countless varieties. Inside the pipe, before touching it with flame, damn it, if I didn't taste the overwhelming taste of Newton's fig biscuits.
It glows well and burns constantly, but because it's so soft and heavy on a Burley, it's too much like smoking a cigarette. There is nothing you don't like, just have a good smoke every day, try it, I bet you will feel the same. I myself have been a smoker for 25 years and have never tried, always sticking to the tobacco store blend. This will be my last packet, I'm pretty sure, and it will stay in a glass jar, most likely until my death, since I don't throw tobacco away at this point.
I smoked it as a "dessert" tobacco after stronger tobaccos, and it is a good end to the evening. All in all, a well made, sweet and rather unique flavor that even for a non-aromatic person like myself, sometimes makes for a pleasant smoke. I find that while they smell great, they are hot, unsatisfying, tongue-biting fumes.
The tobacco burns a little on the warmer side, but never got too hot. A hint of smoke in the air from a distant fire, warm on the edge of a cold winter coast. Steaming hot
